Recompense

I woke up in the early hours with one word pressing hard in my spirit:

RECOMPENSE.

Not delay. Not denial. Not silence.

Recompense.

As I began to pray, it felt like something shifted—like heaven moved a case from “pending”…to settled.

And I couldn’t shake this:

God saw it. All of it.

He saw what you did in private when no one clapped.

He saw the obedience that cost you relationships.

He saw the times you chose integrity when it would’ve been easier to compromise.

He saw the betrayal you never got closure for.

He saw the lies spoken about you that you never defended.

He saw the moments you were abandoned, overlooked, and pushed aside.

And every tear you cried in secret?

He didn’t miss one.

Psalm 56:8 says He collects your tears in a bottle.

Not one breakdown was wasted.

Not one silent night went unnoticed.

Not one prayer fell to the ground.

God is not unjust.

He does not overlook righteousness, and He does not ignore injustice.

There is a holy balancing happening right now.

Accounts are being settled.

Wrongs are being addressed.

And what was done in the dark is being answered by a righteous God who sees in full.

Deuteronomy 28:12 says the Lord opens His good treasure—the storehouse of heaven.

I believe those storehouses are opening over people who stayed faithful when it hurt.

This is not random blessing—this is righteous recompense.

Isaiah 61 declares:

“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion…”

Double.

Not just healing—compensation.

Not just restoration—repayment.

Double for the betrayal.

Double for the injustice.

Double for the seasons where you gave and got nothing back.

Joel 2:25 says, “I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten.”

Years.

God isn’t just healing moments—He’s restoring time, fruit, and increase.

Even generationally—things that were promised but never possessed, God is releasing now.

What others dropped, you will carry.

What others couldn’t step into, you will walk in.

Because God finishes what He starts.

So guard your heart in this hour.

Don’t let bitterness speak when God is about to move.

Don’t let offense disqualify what grace is releasing.

Don’t try to fight in your flesh what God has already taken into His hands.

Because this is not your battle to repay.

This is God’s.

And when He steps in, it is precise.

It is just.

And it is complete.

Something is breaking open.

Something is shifting in your favor.

And when it happens, it will be undeniable—

the kind of vindication that makes it painfully clear God Himself stepped into your story.

No one will be able to explain it away.

No one will be able to take credit for it.

No one will be able to deny it.

The God who saw you in secret…

is about to reward you openly.

The storehouses are opening.

The double portion is being released.

And your recompense…has begun.
