Beautific Vision
I want to go over the scripturalness of visions in the bible. So I will start out with a exegesis of vision in the bible. It is not done enough and people rest on bad assumptions. First I am going to list the number of times vision(s) is listed in the bible.
We can search scriptures for a definition. The other day I found a description of visions in the bible comparing them to dreams from a Joseph Prince program.
Job_33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, while they slumber on their beds,
It is something inside the mind. It is a dream of some sort. Visions are similar daydreaming. So it is in our head and we see it.
Act_11:5 “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, something like a great sheet descending, being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to me.

Gen_15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”

Dan_10:7 And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision, but a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled to hide themselves.
Dan_10:8 So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength.
