Balancing Holy Work

Kathryn Krick is so affirming with her doctrine of Holy work. Kathryn talks about the spirit of religion. With how we boast of holy work through the rejecting of the mustering of the law in a wrong way. We don't boss people around we lead through wisdom and love. Leadership creates life. Title has been distorted by the spirit of religion, roles are still important though but we should not be blind by the spirit of religion in titles. This is more condusive to what God wanted in the first century. God worked with culture too. He came at the time needed not the most progressive time in history. We look at God’s timing, the season what works, what brings peace and holiness in heaven. Bad rules can make people condemn themselves, there is no condemnation in Jesus. We don't need guilt. We still guard our flock to love his perfect law. We secure them. Loyalty is okay. Mustering is not. We shouldn't muster each other. We reason together, this isn't mustering. Reason though don't muster. If courage is warfare in mustering, however we don't need to make up a new term of mustering when it's a fight. Questioning needs to be helpful. But we guard the flock in holy respect. Take the thought captive, but we don't abuse people. We don't live in offense and we don't stop loving the law. This is our balance.
